Peach Pie recipe

Ingredients:

One nine-inch baked pie crust.
4 cups of fresh peach slices, peeled, pitted.
1 cup of crushed peaches.
1 cup of sugar.
½ cup of water.
3 tablespoons of cornstarch.
1 tablespoon of butter.
Ice cream, to serve with.

Preparation Instructions:

In a suitably sized pan, combine the crushed peaches, sugar, water, cornstarch, and butter.

Cook over low heat until the mixture is clear and thick.

Set aside and allow to cool.

Fill the baked pie crust with the sliced peaches.

Pour the cooled, cooked mixture over the peach slices.

Chill thorougly.

Serve with ice cream.
